Friends of Le Consortium
Founded in 1977 and housed since 2011 in a 4,500 m2, Shigeru Ban-designed building, Le Consortium is an independent non-profit organization. Fundraising and donor support play a decisive part in its budget. Thanks to the support of its members and donors, Le Consortium has organized more than 300 exhibitions onsite and internationally.
Earnings account for 62% of Le Consortium’s annual operating budget. They consist in ticket sales, joint partnerships set up for each exhibition, the occasional backing from international private foundations, the generosity of private galleries, consulting and curatorial commissions, and the decisive support of our members and donors gathered within the Friends of Le Consortium various membership groups.
US Patrons
Donors in the United States can support Consortium Museum via Friends of Fondation de France, a 501(c)(3) public charity established in New York in 2000 to facilitate US giving to trusted international nonprofits. Any donation to Consortium Museum made through Friends of Fondation de France will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
